(BTW, I am a lay person, not clergy, so it is not my decision as to what translation to use.)<br /><br />In our Second Life group I started using the CEB for the psalm and Gospel reading for our Compline service. I did that without telling anyone, and eventually a few people asked what translation I was using since it sounded different from what they are used to.
