The Augsburg Fortress | Lutheran Study Bible (Hardcover) was released recently. Apparently, Concordia will also release a Lutheran Study Bible on Reformation Day 2009.
I have the Augsburg Fortress bible in hand, but the CPH bible does not come out until next fall, so for the time being I can't really analyze how different they are. They both claim to be a Lutheran study bible. CPH is using the ESV translation. AF is using the NRSV.
It is in any event fascinating that both have come out in the same year...
